The people of Africa are wonderful. Many have little in the way of material belongings but are rich in family and community.I was in Malawi in the 1987 crash. I had invested all my extra hard earned cash in the NZ stock market when I left on my big OE in 1986.
After the crash my shares were worthless. However being in Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world, made me put things in perspective.
