We spent a few days cycling in Paris and then bussed to Orleans to start our Loire Valley ride. When we finished in Nantes we took a bus to Bordeaux, had a few days exploring the region and the hit the Canal du Garonne.

We had visited Turkey twice before. We love the culture, history, ruins, food and people – not to mention the many lovely villages and towns by the gorgeous Mediterranean.
We flew to Istanbul, had a few days exploring this crazy city, took a flight to Izmir and picked up a rental car. After a wonderful 3 weeks driving and staying on the coast we finished at the incredible wonderland of Goreme in Cappadocia. We dropped the car at Neveshir Airport and flew back to Istanbul and then to France.

3 weeks in Turkey
Turkey is a fabulous place for a holiday
Spain and Portugal
We started our trip in Barcelona and finished in Barcelona – firstly going North to the beautiful Costa Brava then heading down the Mediterranean coast before visiting the wonderful region of Seville and Granada. There were so many charming historic villages along the way.
We then drove into Portugal, spent a week on the Algarve before heading North to Lisbon, Porto and as far North as Peneda Geres National Park.
Drive through the lovely Duoro Valley before the trek across the interior of Spain via Madrid back to Barcelona.
