Sydney/Noosa

We lived briefly in Sydney in 1994.What a great city. Mum and Dad also had an apartment in Noosa so have spent a few holidays on the Sunshine Coast and love it.

Sydney is all about the harbour, the Opera House and the beaches!

Visit to the Blue Mountains with Helle’s Mum and Dad

A trip to the Blue Mountains is a must – take a walk around. It is quite spectacular.

The three sisters

They reminded me of the Three Rondovels in South Africa

Take a visit to Old Sydney Town – reenactment of life back in the 1800’s.

Noosa

Noosa is a wonderful spot on the Sunshine Coast. Lots to do – walking , biking, visiting markets, boat trips – just hanging out and enjoying the natural surrounds of the river, beach, National Park and waterways.

They is some interesting bird life and animals as well in Australia.

Lars is not that keen on the Kookaburra
Getting close up and personal
Not sure Lars is loving his first introduction to Australian wildlife
Main beach in Noosa Heads
Hire a boat and putter about in the river and waterways
Captain Lars
Wander on the boardwalk near Noosaville
Take a walk in the lovely Noosa National Park
The National park even has wheelchair access!
Chilling at the Yacht Club
Take the ferry and visit Noosa Marina where they have a market on Saturdays
We hired bikes and cycled down the coast to Peregian Beach
The coastline on the Sunshine Coast is fantastic – one great beach after another! I found a couple of friends on an empty beach.
Always a good chance to spot local wildlife
